    Gladys’ Birthday

    May 28th, 2008 by aloha

As early as today I already greeted her a happy birthday, I miss her, I know such a long time we haven’t seen each other and talked the way that we did before but I know that doesn’t change the way in which I look up to her as my sister. I just want her to know that she’s being treasured and I care for her. I love you ate. Hahaha… :-)

I don’t have a brother or a sister of my own but she treated me like I was her own sister in a loving caring way and I thank her for that. Sometimes it is quite difficult having no siblings to share things with but she made it a little easy for me while I was growing up. This woman did wonder in educating me what a girl should have to know in dealing with things about womanhood and so on. Hahaha… :-) It’s a wonderful thing I have come acrossed in knowing her.

Well this calls for a celebration, right? :-)

See you if you get here

    May 22nd, 2008 by aloha

About a week ago or less than that, I was out to see my friend Luz and another friend of ours who was here in Manila for a short period of time to do some work. The last time I have seen Johmar was like during college days or one of those get together batch parties, I am not quite sure but I know such a long time. It only proves that the more I don’t remember it well the more that I knew that I am getting old. Hahaha… :-) The invitation was short noticed and so was the meeting. We only had few hours to talk about a lot of things that we could possibly talk like who’s married or who’s not, where’s who and what not and the usual stuff to talk about every time you haven’t seen someone for a long time. It’s like he’s been carrying loads of information and tells things so you won’t miss out on what people are up to now. Though it’s like 4 hours or so, it’s all good. :-)

The conversation gets more interesting if beers accompany it, so we had a few and I just had a sip for I don’t feel like drinking a lot. It’s Luz who drunk was supposed to be mine and I just ate and ate. :-) Well, I just noticed that it’s been like this every time someone came here; they find time to see us; which of course is a good thing, have a little drink and talk like we were just home. It’s not a complaint but an observation I love marveling about. I know more of this little celebration thing will happen and that only means more beers for the tummy. Hahaha… :-)

So see you if you get here. :-)

    Dreams are dreams

    May 15th, 2008 by aloha

Back I was a kid, every time I had nightmares or bad dreams my mother used to tell me to either knock on a wood or whisper the exact dream I had then bite the wood. If I were to be asked if it works, I don’t know exactly but I was able to keep myself on believing that that really works. But I don’t do that anymore because that is a kid’s way of coping up with bad dreams. Still I am having dreams every now and then, all human does, some are good and some are not that good at all. Just lately I have been having bad dreams, as bad as seeing horrendous pictures of a not so good scenes and events that involved people that I knew. It’s scary because it’s an action filled dreams that involves running and breathe catching moments. But I am not going into details on what exactly the whole thing was because it’s not good imagining about. I wonder what could they mean to my life or what it wanted to say to me. :-)

They say that we dreamed every time we sleep and forgot some of it but there are those that the moment we woke up we recall it the way how we pictured it out. Now for these dreams that I remember it stays for a while in my head but not long enough to be remembered well. I had once started to have a sort of diary of my dreams and wrote everything in fine details. At first I was persistent but later I gave it up because I wasn’t making any sense anymore. I was wondering if there is a way somewhere in the corner of ones mind to control a dream so that all we would like to dream are just the good ones. Silly but seriously asked by me. :-) Hahaha My dreams took me to some unbelievable circumstances, contented and discontented feelings at the same time and sometimes set me on a worry mood for a while but I know reality check is more believable than the imaginary or the by product of the unconscious mind. :)

    A call from Yen

    May 4th, 2008 by aloha

I got a call from Yen as early as 2 in the morning Manila time and I believed it was past 10 in the evening U.A.E. time base on where she is, at first I was hesitant to answer it because there’s no number registered on my phone and I don’t usually answers suspicious and unsolicited calls. I just felt that I had to answer it and that was a surprise, really. :-) I know how busy she can be yet she finds time to call me in spite of it. She’s a friend I’ve known for a long time now and one of those few that I simply adore with. I missed her and we didn’t get a chance to see each other before she left out of the country. It is such a nice feeling hearing from her again and so many things I left not knowing about this woman. Well the call didn’t last that long and got cut off in the middle of a conversation. Hopefully that won’t be the last call from her. :-)

    Miss you friend…. :-)
