    March 25th, 2008 by aloha

    1. No one has heard of your favorite songs and movies.
    2. You quit trying to hold your stomach in no matter who walks into the room.
    3. You begin every sentence with ” In my days… ”
    4. You start to check out where senior discount cards are honored.
    5. Everything seems so loud but you can’t hear anything.
    6. Everyone seems so young, the doctor, dentist, bank manager even the priest.
    7. You frequently find yourself telling people how things used to cost and have changed.
    8. You and your teeth don’t sleep together.
    9. You seem to be forgetful and occasionally misplaced things.
    10. You have mood changes and behavioral changes too.

    Baby News and Friends

    March 24th, 2008 by aloha

Bubbles informed me through a text message that Micmic gave birth already. They were expecting for a boy, I wonder what’s the baby’s name would be. I asked her once but she didn’t tell me and it would be a surprise according to her. Just last Wednesday the 3 of us chatted and just like the old days they loved to pick me for a tease. Maybe that’s what I miss the most, teasing and later everybody will burst to laughter. :-) Hahaha… Bubbles is the laughter booster amongst the group. Her laughter is contagious. Now I’m missing more the girls and the college adventures we had. Recently we got reconnected and we’ve been communicating constantly. They encourage me to take blogging seriously and later get paid for it. So I did and hopefully am starting on the right foot.

Micmic had CS and that’s what most expectant mothers don’t want to undergo because it takes weeks to get completely healed. As long as the baby and she are safe, it’s a wonderful thing. Sad because I can’t personally visit her and how I’d love to see her before with her big tummy. :-) Hahaha… Micmic and Macoi is such a great couple. I guess Bubbles visited her yesterday. Oh! I can’t wait to see their baby’s pictures. :-) Harlie is in the Philippines with her husband but she didn’t contacted most of us. Well she may have her reasons and am just wondering. The most kindhearted person she is, we all know why. Joana seems nowhere to be found but she’s just there somewhere. She is a true example of small but terrible. You just don’t know what this lady is capable of doing. She’s my sister in height and by heart also. :-) Irah the quiet one yet when she speaks it’s good hearing about. She got that diction and accent which everybody loves hearing about. She’s fit to work in a call center; I wonder if she really thought about it.

Barbie the most adventurous one is in Australia. Nobody can block her way to do what she wanted. She believed that what a guy can do, can be done by a woman also. Aside from girls we also have guy friends. Tonton had a kid already which I didn’t knew until Bubbles told me so. Leo the mathematician; enjoys taking over their family business in running a school and teaching at the same time. What a noble profession. :-) Melvin, Jekjek and Floyd are 3 bunches of wacky guys. I wonder what these guys are up to now. Well these are my college friends. And for me, well I’m just taking most of my time writing down thoughts in memory lane. :-)

    The Bucket List

    March 22nd, 2008 by aloha

    thebucketlist_galleryposter.jpg

The movie talks about two terminally ill men whose a complete stranger to each other, both were diagnosed with cancer and finds way on how to spend the last days of their lives with fun and a whole lot new meaning to them. A movie being starred by Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman would definitely turn out to be a good one. :-) Like how the title goes ” The Bucket List “, they’ve created a list - things to do before ” they kick the bucket “. They talked so much about life, faith and learned from each other. And so the story goes on and on and on….

Sometimes what’s not magical to us, what’s simple to us - is magical to others. The simplest thing in ones lives were the ones that actually define who we are and what we are to others. The movie is delightful. It’s not everything about life that can be learned through movies but it’s seeing these tidbits of the actuality and exactness of life. :-)
